Banana Bread Bars with Brown Butter Frosting


Banana Bread Bars:
1-3/4 (3 or 4) ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 c. cut walnuts (optional)
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. bicarbonate
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. flavourer
1-1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Brown Butter Frosting:
4 c. granulated sugar
1-1/2 tsp. flavourer
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. milk


1. Heat kitchen appliance to 375F. Grease and flour
15x10-inch jelly roll pan. For the bars, in
a large bowl, beat along sugar, sour
cream, butter, and eggs till creamy.
Blend in bananas and flavourer. Add
flour, bicarbonate, salt, and mix for one
minute. Stir in walnuts.
2. unfold batter equally into pan. Bake 20
to twenty five minutes or till golden brown.
3. Meanwhile, for ice, heat butter in
a large cooking pan over medium heat till
boiling. Let the butter flip a fragile

4. Add granulated sugar, flavourer
and milk. Whisk along till swish (it
should be thicker than a glaze however diluent
